A touch of excitement

So many good things this week to chat about, firstly I put colour to cardstock... "i know" I hope you were sitting down.... not only that but I enjoyed it.    Secondly Polkadoodles have come out with colouring pages, not one but two books.   With such varied designs that we are totally spoiled for choice.   Head on over HERE to find out more, there are two books so make sure you look around.

What else is happening...
Well we have a brand new challenge starting and its every girls favourite thing
Sparkle, Glitter and Bling.

So don your bling, throw your glitter in the air and get crafting.

I used the lovely Presents image from Hollybobs.  She comes coloured or as a digi awaiting your preferred medium to be added.  I used Heavy glitter card stock and some simple vinyl for the sentiment, as i wanted the image to be the focus.

I do hope to see you all over at the Challenge, Good Luck.

Polkadoodle, Use a die

Another week and another challenge, this week we are showcasing our dies.   Head on over to the challenge blog and check out the DT creations and then link up your own.  We look forward to seeing what you make.

I finally put colour to card stock and also used my Real Brush Pens to boot.   My dies were all from MFT.  With the real brush pens, i was really happy to find that the blending was so forgiving, you can see the gradient of colour and the blends, while it remained like true watercoloring.

My papers are from WP3 and WP4 and the cupcake image was from Picknix 1

Now its your turn to create.
Thanks for visiting today

All about shapes!

Have you been over to the Polkadoodles site recently and checked out the newest products and the special offers.  I strongly suggest you take a look around.  The download above is currently in my cart and I'm keen to get creating!  How awesome is it.
You can find it here

Polkadoodles Challenges Blog  has a new challenge up for you all and its All about your favourite shaped cards.

I originally was leaning to a circular card when it struck me that my real favourite card is actually a tag.   I ended up printing out lots of elements and then combined my two favourite shapes into one.

The yellow spotty background is from Work and Play 1 and then the wonderful Twiggy image is from the Twiggy Festive digital download.  I do love how you can mix and match kits, especially if you are like me and you can't make up your mind on what your theme is :).

Head on over to the blog and link up your makes. We look forward to seeing your favourite shapes
