Aud Sentiments with Mami Doodles
So as your reading this, I am in Canada Whistler.. skiing or sleeping dependant on your time zone! Im probably sore, aching and having the time of my life! Its actually the 2nd of January as I type this and I am a tad excited about our impending trip!
Now this week at Aud Sentiments we were asked to use Mama Doodle images and our theme is very simple, use the word LOVE. We were lucky enough to be sponsored by Sassy Designs and yes they are definitely sassy images, I love them. I now have four of these beauties in my digital image stash and look forward to grabbing some more in the future, the range of images is wonderful and is very hard to choose.
I created this card last night with a totally different background on it and I really didnt like it. I woke up today and thought.. ok its not the image, its the papers I am using and wouldn't you know it.. a change of papers made the card change.

We are back cooking it up with Katie for 2012
Welcome back to Cooking it Up with Katie challenges for 2012, we had a lovely break and you guys really did a great job with the Anything Goes challenge for our last 2011 Challenge.

Cupcake inspiration
Its been a while since a made a card just for the sake of it but I saw this inspiration challenge this morning and decided I must play. Head in over to Cupcake inspiration

I'm also playing lag with my DT challenges, so Aud Sentiments wanted scraps, the image was in a pile of scraps, I'd half coloured her and then forgot about her, and the little green glitter swirls were nearly in the bin and I rescued them. Card makin mamas want something new, I went with technique and coloured ribbons with copic airbrushing, but to be fair the rhinestones are also new to my stash and then there is If the shoe fits, alSo scraps.
